This is a Fun, Free and Family Friendly Event that supports directly local business in Louisville, Kentucky. Bring your appetite and the family, we’ll see you there!

Let’s go to the Hop!

Join us for the FAT Friday Halloween Hop on Friday, October 25th from 6:00pm-10:30pm! Hoppers are encouraged to dress in costume, and many businesses will host special offers, live music and refreshments. Free trolleys will run along Frankfort Avenue from Cannons Lane to River Road. Please support these trolley partner businesses, as they help ensure the trolleys remain free to the public! 

Explore the Clifton, Crescent Hill and Butchertown neighborhoods by way of a trolley ride! The FAT Friday Trolley Hop was launched in 2004 and has become a signature event on Frankfort Avenue. Held year-round on the final Friday of every month from 6:00pm-10:00pm, this event draws attracts thousands of people to enjoy free trolley rides to participating shops, restaurants and galleries along the Frankfort, Mellwood and Story Avenue corridor. Many of the businesses host live music and entertainment, complimentary refreshments and special sales on trolley hop nights. 

NEW EXTENDED TROLLEY ROUTE! We are excited to announce the trolley route has been permanently extended and will now stretch from Mellwood and Story Avenue to Cannon’s Lane. The Frankfort Avenue Business Association relies on the support of member businesses to cover the cost of the trolley service so that it can be available for free to the public.
